Jointly Promote Industrial Digitalization to Empower High-Quality Development of the Consumer Goods Industry

To thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, and to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on new productivity, promoting deep integration of Party building and business, and strengthening government-enterprise collaboration to empower high-quality industrial development, on December 24, 2025, the Department of Consumer Goods Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, and the IBI Party Branch jointly conducted a themed Party Day event. The event combined on-site research and discussion, focusing on key issues such as industrial internet empowering the digital transformation of the consumer goods industry and cross-border expansion, to consolidate development consensus, clarify cooperation directions, and help build new global competitiveness for the consumer goods industry.

At the beginning of the event, He Yaqiong, Director of the Department of Consumer Goods Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Wang Bin, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, and other relevant leaders, accompanied by Qian Xiaojun, founder and CEO of IBI, visited the IBI digital exhibition hall. They gained a detailed understanding of the company's development trajectory, business layout, and innovative achievements over more than 20 years of deep involvement in the industrial internet. They focused on examining the operational models of platforms closely related to the consumer goods industry, such as WDD, Zhiduo, FDD, and LYDD, and directly experienced the deep application of digital technology in various links of the industrial chain and its empowering effect on the transformation and upgrading of small and medium-sized enterprises.

During the discussion session, Qian Xiaojun first extended a sincere welcome to the leaders on behalf of IBI. He stated that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Central Committee has attached great importance to the integration of the digital economy and the real economy, pointing the way for new industrialization construction. In the interactive exchange session, government and enterprise representatives conducted in-depth discussions on core topics such as the digital transformation of the consumer goods industry, empowering enterprises to go global, and precise policy alignment. Representatives from relevant departments of the Department of Consumer Goods Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology spoke based on their business functions, believing that IBI's digital model provides an effective path for small and medium-sized enterprises to solve the pain points of "wanting to transform but not knowing how, and lacking funds to transform." Its practices in optimizing cold chain logistics, building digital industrial chains in Xinjiang, and establishing overseas warehouse service networks have important reference significance for promoting quality and efficiency improvement in the consumer goods industry and exploring international markets. In response to industry development needs, relevant representatives proposed that IBI share industry data resources, summarize and promote digital transformation experiences, and jointly explore the digital potential in fields such as the food industry, helping quality domestic products go global.
